Where The Buffalo Roam. Ummm...or is that Bison??

A above normal January day has compelled me to venture outside. Couldn't resist capturing these wonderful beasts to digital files. These fellas quickly became a favorite subject I will soon return to see.

Note: It's actaully Bison. Both bison and buffalo belong to the same family, Bovidae, the true 'buffalo' are native only to Africa and Asia. The only two species holding that name being the Asian Water Buffalo and the African Buffalo. When looking at them they are very different.

Holy Cow! It's been awhile since I've posted anything here. Finally the holidays are over with. Work has quieted down. My big photo project has been completed and I am ready to get back to all of the photos I took this summer.

Haven't had the time for myself but now is the time! Here is a small sampling I whipped up tonight. They start with a New Years fireworks pic from just the other night and go back all the way to mid summer. There will be a lot more on the way. I can't wait to get back at it again.

Now that it's winter my tendency is to stay in but this year I'm forcing myself out more. And with the help of some new equipment, I'll be having some fun doing it! So sit back and enjoy and as always, I would love to hear from you.
