Portrait Time

Yes. It's that time. I don't get to post a lot of these but here are two I'm very happy with. My niece Zoey was the reluctant subject. My sister did not want the typical "Portrait" look. So she dressed her up one Sunday afternoon and she ran around while I snapped some photos. I like them. She loves them. Her family loves them and that's all that matters to me.

Things Not To Do!

At the time I took this photograph I hadn't really thought about my personal safety. It was more of a surreal experience. When you feel the ground shake under your feet...it's time to leave. Sure, there is a wire fence...but that's a 1500lb Bison picking up speed. Who would win that round? I wasn't going to wait to see...

Mike's Trip To The Zoo.

So I haven't been to the zoo in ages. Our local photo club was meeting up there and I thought it would be fun. It was. I just wish the animals looked like they were having fun. In their defense, I would pretty much be the same way if I was relegated to the same cage space for most of my exsistance. All in all it was a good time and I got to take some great images. Well...I think they're pretty good.

They're Back.

With winter officially gone it's nice to see some old friends coming home. Interestingly enough, this is the first time I have ever taken photos of Geese. Of all the years taking photos I never found the time I guess. Silly me.
