I Love The Light

I'm not one to boast about my photography. I do it because I love it. A simple shot with my 50mm 1.4 lens while having dinner out one night gave me one of my favorite shots. Can't put my finger on it but I just love the light in this one. (My waitress certainly was wondering what the heck I was doing. Yes. My camera is with me almost everywhere)

More Bison

Took about a hundred and thirty shots this day. I cropped this one closer and that was the only one I liked. Go figure. I knew it was time to stop shooting when I actually couldn't feel my finger on the shutter release. Brrrrr....I believe it was worth it though.

This day was actually warmer than in the photo above. I thought a 200mm 2.8 lens would be a great thing. It is. But why do I want a 400mm now? I like cropping with the lens as opposed to cropping in Photoshop. The detail isn't as good as I would like but I believe it still works. But if anyone has a spare Nikon 400mm...feel free to send it to me. :)
